This is Shoshone Falls. It's located near Twin Falls, ID by Dierkes Lake Park. They call it the "Niagara of the West" because it tumbles 212 feet to the canyon floor, 50' higher than Niagara Falls. Late spring and early summer are the best seasons to visit - it has 218 acres of beauty. We got there just in time to catch the sunset - so stay tuned for more shots.
It was amazing! I was a bit dizzy standing there. The place where I'm standing in that other picture in front of the falls, I was like... Ok- take the picture! NOW! Take it! I was so nervous that close to the edge...even with the fence. It was HIGH!
