i don't understand
my heart aches in confusion
torn between love and faith
torn between the sacred and the sweet
torn, and pulling away from the pain
i stand undecided
i still don't understand
there's a part of me that wants to be angry
there's a part of me that wishes for reconciliation
there's nowhere to meet in the middle
i am torn
i decide not to decide
it is not my place to decide
i don't understand but i know someone who does
and i know i can trust
i know i can love
so i will

but i have found peace
i ponder often

wonderfully captured.....I can so relate from times in my life....but I have also struggled with faith.....I am glad you found peace in this place....sometimes we make a choice on peace and faith in the unseen and unknown......ah yes, patience. Lovely.
